QUICK BROWN FOX (AUS) had to check severely on the outside running rail losing position off the heels of FELCITY FLYER, which was carried out by ANIME, which shifted out at about the 350m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine QUICK BROWN FOX (AUS) on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Jockey Veale was charged with a contravention in that he, as the rider of ANIME, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to other runners when he shifted out at the 350m. Jockey Veale signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. FELICITY FLYER and QUICK BROWN FOX (AUS) were carried out by RED GINGER, which rolled out at about the 800m. RED GINGER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: QUICK BROWN FOX (AUS) - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
