KIRKCONNEL LASS jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. The Board reviewed the start of this race with regard to KIRKCONNEL LASS in stall gate number 1 and after viewing the patrol films of the race, the Board was satisfied that this filly had received a fair start. The All Clear was held until such time as this decision had been finalised. In view of the performance from KIRKCONNEL LASS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Shortly after the start, KIRKCONNEL LASS, DAME KELLY and FARAWAY ISLAND were carried in by IRISH, which jumped inwards. TEENAGE DREAM was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: KIRKCONNEL LASS - examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
