Apprentice Schwarz now claims a 1.5kg apprentice allowance. Jockey Godden and Apprentice Bantam did not ride at today's meeting due to being medically indisposed. Jockey Brown was examined by the Medical Officer and was declared fit to ride. The start of this Race was delayed due to MEGREZ breaking through the front gates, being restrained by the rider, returned to the start, examined by the Veterinary and reloaded. ROCKHAMPTON ROCKET was restless, and injured in the starting stalls. SANDCASTLE was slow into stride. WAR-KING lost one length. GREEN EMPEROR lost three lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. MEGREZ broke through the front gates, restrained, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and reloaded. SAND PATH was difficult to load. COSSACK GUARD was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. CELTIC SUNRISE over-raced in the early stages. SAND PATH raced green, was hanging out throughout and raced wide on the bend. WAR-KING raced green. Jockey Lerena reported THE NORTH FACE took no interest in running. In view of the Starter's report concerning MEGREZ, this colt's starting stall certificate was withdrawn until re-passed tractable with a companion.
