POWER GIRL jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. DIAMONDS AND DIOR jumped awkwardly losing one length and was slow into stride. Jockey Domeyer was charged with a contravention in that he failed to present his Medical Record Book to the Clerk of Scales at least 60 minutes before the official starting time of the first race in which he had an engagement. Jockey Domeyer signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. Jockey Dillon reported that PUMEZA did not stride out freely in running. Trainer Sands was requested to report back to the Board on the filly's condition on her return to the stables. Jockey Fourie reported that RUNAWAY REBEL did not stride out freely in running. TIGER BRIGHT took an awkward stride shortly after the start. SUNSHINE MINT (IRE) raced green. VICE VERSA was hanging in from the 200m. VICE VERSA and SUNSHINE MINT (IRE) were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: PUMEZA - inspected post race and no abnormalities were detected. RUNAWAY REBEL - returned striding short on the right fore. DEAR MONIETTE (AUS) - returned suffering from an epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa. Scratched: MOCHAVAR - lame on the left fore.
