The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. SPEED LIGHTNING was slow, losing 5 lengths. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. ARABIAN NATIONAL was slow, losing 6 lengths. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding was withdrawn. In view of the Starter's reports with regard to SPEED LIGHTNING and ARABIAN NATIONAL, these geldings were suspended for a period of 7 days each and until such time as they prove tractable in the starting stalls. SPEED LIGHTNING and ARABIAN NATIONAL may not be presented for repassing during this period. In view of the performance from HARRISON, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Trainer Miller was requested to report back on the condition of HARRISON on return to the stables. Jockey Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with ROY'S WINTER PATCH in running. ROQUEBRUNE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ROCK ME VAR raced in Club colours with the Stewards permission. Vet: SPEED LIGHTNING - lame right hind. HARRISON - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. ROY'S WINTER PATCH - not striding out left hind.
