FLEET OF FOOT had to be re-saddled and was unruly. JOHN IN FLIGHT was not presented timeously in the parade ring and was withdrawn. COUNT NU shifted outward away from the crop from the 200 metre mark. Shortly after the start, the saddle of LAKE WASHINGTON slipped back badly thereafter Jockey Herholdt was unable to fully assist his mount. Jockey Steyn reported that JAMAICA'S BOY took no interest in the running. Jockey Mxothwa reported that THE GREEK SOLDIER took no interest in the running. Jockey Munger reported that FLEET OF FOOT was not striding out freely in the running. PICK AGAIN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: COUNT NU - not striding out left front, treated. JAMAICA'S BOY and THE GREEK SOLDIER - checked post race, nothing obvious detected. FLEET OF FOOT - not striding out in front.
