WISH TO LAND was nervous and reared in the stalls, lost 1 length. OASIS QUEEN was nervous, kicked the back gate and reared in the stalls and was slow into stride. CAT IN COMMAND was slow into stride. Apprentice Hewitson reported that CAT IN COMMAND was not striding out freely in the running. Jockey Penny reported that OASIS QUEEN was not striding out freely in the running. GOLDEN SHAMROCK shifted inward, came together and bumped CAPTAIN'S VISTA, which shifted outward sharply in the closing stages. Approaching the 1700 metre mark, WISH TO LAND eased off the heels of ROSSLYN CHAPEL, which shifted inward slightly. Jockey Steyn signed an Admission of Guilt for the contravention in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to WISH TO LAND approaching the 1700 metre mark whilst riding ROSSLYN CHAPEL. He was given a Warning. CAPTAIN'S VISTA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CAT IN COMMAND - post race distress syndrome. ROSSLYN CHAPEL - not striding out in front. OASIS QUEEN - checked post race, nothing obvious detected.
