KINGSTON PASSAGE reared in the stalls, was taken out and withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. LORD BALMORAL (AUS) was slow into stride. In view of the report from the Starter concerning KINGSTON PASSAGE, Trainer Crawford will be advised that this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. The Off time of this race was rescheduled after KINGSTON PASSAGE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the colt on its return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. SERGEANT HARDY ducked in sharply for a number of strides leaving the stalls. SERGEANT HARDY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: LORD BALMORAL (AUS) - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. Scratched: LA FAVOURARI - nasal discharge. KINGSTONE PASSAGE - injured in stalls was withdrawn.
