BALLROOM DANCE was slow into stride. PACHANGA raced in Club Colours. The saddle on NICKY NOO slipped back in running. In view of the performance from BALLROOM DANCE, which trailed the field throughout, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. In view of the performance from CAPAILL, and which made an abnormal respiratory noise in the pull up, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. ALPHA SAPHIRE and NICKY NOO were hanging out over the final 400m. LADYSMITH raced without a tongue tie. LADYSMITH raced fitted with ear muffs. Vet: CAPAILL - returned blowing. BALLROOM DANCE - returned not striding out. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
