THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PURPLE MOON'S UP (L Hewitson) and HEREINAFTER (D Dillon) lost 1 length, respectively. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In a slowly run race, HAWKER TYPHOON (*L Ferraris), PURPLE MOON'S UP (L Hewitson) and CHANTY LANE (G Wright) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) At the 1200m, PURPLE MOON'S UP (L Hewitson) raced onto and clipped the heels of HAWKER TYPHOON (*L Ferraris). c) TREASURED PEARL (A Arries) was hanging out around the turn and into the straight. d) At the 300m, TREASURED PEARL (A Arries) was carried out by MARIA COROLINA (A Marcus) which was hanging out between the 400m and 300m. e) Jockey A Marcus (MARIA COROLINA) had his crop struck from his hand by Jockey A Arries (TREASURED PEARL) in the concluding stages. f) In view of the performance of PURPLE MOON'S UP (L Hewitson) (9.90 lengths) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) TREASURED PEARL (A Arries), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
