The start of this Race was delayed due to the re-saddling of POLLYMANIA. VERTICAL was slow away and lost 1 length. SHE RULES and CARLITA were slow away and lost 2 lengths each. MISS KARATE was slow into stride and lost 1 length. WONDER WOMAN was slow into stride and lost 3 lengths. OCEAN BREEZE failed to muster speed and gave ground to the field at approximately the 750 metre mark. Jockey Zechner reported that OCEAN BREEZE took no interest in the running Jockey Cheyne reported that he felt something amiss with SUPA SMART in the running and he did not persevere with his ride in the closing stages. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine and nothing obvious was detected. Trainer Greeff was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of this filly on his return to the stables. VERTICAL raced green. CARLITA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: OCEAN BREEZE - cast right front shoe. SUPA SMART - checked post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: MARCH MUSIC - inflammation on shin bone.
