The start of the 4th Race was delayed as a result of PERFECT PREZZIE rearing over in the starting stalls dislodging Jockey Samuel. This filly was released from the starting stalls, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and scratched. At the same time QUEEN OF SWING became restless in the starting stalls, was released, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and scratched. PERFECT PREZZIE reared over in the starting stalls. Removed, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn. QUEEN OF SWING rushed the front of the starting stalls. Removed, checked by the Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn. ROY'S MARLIN rushed the front of the starting stalls. THE VINTAGE, GEORGINA and VEGAS LIGHTS were slow into stride. SYMPHONY IN SEVEN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Godden reported that he felt something amiss with ROY'S MARLIN in running. THE VINTAGE was hanging in over the final 300 metres. In view of the Starter's Report concerning PERFECT PREZZIE, the starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion. Vet: ROY'S MARLIN - not striding out. QUEEN OF SWING - mouth injury. PERFECT PREZZIE - head injury. Scratched: PERFECT PREZZIE - reared in stalls, head injury and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. QUEEN OF SWING - injured in stalls, mouth injury and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon.
