AVIEMORE was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. At about the 50m, HENRY TUDOR changed stride and shifted outwards. Shortly thereafter DAYONAUT shifted outwards, which resulted in these two geldings shifting outwards, independently of one another, to the finish. Jockey Fayd'Herbe lodged an Objection against DAYONAUT being declared the winner on the grounds of interference and intimidation in the latter stages. The Objection Board, after reviewing the patrol films and hearing all the evidence given, overruled the Objection and allowed the Judges' result to stand. The deposit was refunded. TRUE WORDS steadied off the heels of DAYONAUT in the concluding stages. DAYONAUT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The Ownership of HENRY TUDOR should read: Green Street Bloodstock (Pty) Ltd; and the Colours are: Black, green stripe, black sleeves, green cuffs and cap. Scratched: DUCHESS OF PRUSSIA - coughing.
