DUNDRUM was stubborn and difficult to load. Trainer Dixon advised to re-school this mare. MUSIC WORLD lost 2 lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. SUPER SPARKLE lost 1 length. DIAMOND NOIR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Apprentice Schwarz reported MUSIC WORLD took no interest in running. DUNDRUM raced to the front in the early stages and compounded in the straight. GOT YOUR BACK was hanging in over the final 400 metres. BRAVE AND BOLD had to be eased at approximately the 250 metre mark. An Inquiry will be opened into this incident. DIAMANTE returned post race having cast the right hind shoe. VICTORY TRIP returned post race having cast the right fore shoe. Vet: MUSIC WORLD - not striding out behind. DUNDRUM - abnormal respiratory noise. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
