RIVER AYRE, GO WITH FLO and TROPICAL WONDER were slow into stride. NATIONAL AGENDA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Anthony was questioned regarding the improved performance of NATIONAL AGENDA the winner, compared to this mare's previous performance on the 29.12.2017. Mr Anthony explained that this mare runs her best races when allowed to race freely from the front. In her previous performance she was unable to get to the front of the field from a wide draw. This, in his opinion, had accounted for the poor performance. Mr Anthony's explanation has been noted and the future performances of NATIONAL AGENDA will be monitored. In view of the performance of RIVER AYRE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Jockey Veale reported that he felt something amiss with CAMOMILE in running. Apprentice Bantam reported GREAT AIM was coughing at the pull-up. GREAT AIM raced fitted with cheek pieces and raced with her tongue tied down, Vet: RIVER AYRE - coughing. CAMOMILE and GREAT AIM - nothing obvious detected.
