Apprentice Mjoka did not ride at today's racemeeting (medically indisposed). He was replaced on his mounts. Mr Habib is now a qualified jockey. GIMME BALLET and NADIA lost one length. GENEROUS NOTION was stubborn loading and jumped awkwardly losing two lengths. Jockey van der Merwe reported that NADIA did not stride out freely in running. Approaching the 400m, JAMRA had to steady momentarily off the heels of GENEROUS NOTION, which shifted out away from the crop. Jockey Zechner, the rider of GENEROUS NOTION, appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the race and advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. At approximately the 350m, GIMMEMORE shifted out sharply away from the crop. Apprentice Lerena appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the race, and advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. REGAL GRADUATION was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TRUCE raced with Club colours. Vet: NADIA - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. KEEP IT HOT - respiratory distress. Scratched: BACKSLASH - insufficient recovery time. SOME SONG - sore hamstring.
