During the loading process, GIVEMEHOPE broke through the front gates dislodging Jockey van der Merwe and bolted the course. This gelding was subsequently scratched by the course Veterinary Surgeon, which caused a delay to the start of this Race. GIVEMEHOPE broke through the front gates, dislodging Jockey van der Merwe and bolted the course. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. In view of the Starter's report with regard to GIVEMEHOPE, this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable jumping on terms with a companion on a raceday. GIVEMEHOPE may not be presented for repassing during this period. WILDLIFE SAFARI was hanging in from the 300m. In the concluding stages, BLUE DIAMOND ROAD was carried out by HUYSSTEEN (AUS), which shifted both ways away from the crop. REBUKED was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: CEDRUS LIBANI - coughing. GIVEMEHOPE - bolted the course and was withdrawn. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at tonight's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at tonight's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
