The starting stalls certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. In view of the Starter's report with regard to CANTATA MUNDI, this filly has been suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls. CANTATA MUNDI may not be presented for repassing during this period. At approximately the 1400m, GRAB THE GAVEL and TORTOLA were awkwardly placed on the inside of MANEATER and on the heels of UNTIL DAWN which, after racing to the front, was eased back significantly by Workrider Mosia. Workrider Mosia signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention in that he, as the rider of UNTIL DAWN, caused bunching to the field between the 1600m and the 1200m. He was suspended from riding in two workriders' races. Leaving the 1400m, the saddle on GENEROSO slipped forward badly, resulting in the lead bag becoming dislodged. As a consequence of this the lead bag made contact with CLIQUE, which caused this filly to stumble badly, dislodging Workrider Duba. An objection was lodged by the Clerk of Scales in that Workrider Mlangeni weighed in 4.3kg under the weight at which he weighed out at. The Objection Board, after taking evidence from all the parties concerned, upheld the objection and GENEROSO was disqualified. MANEATER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
