KITTY COO broke open the front gate. As a consequence of this FICTICIOUS broke through the front gate, dislodged Apprentice Hewitson and bolted. KITTY COO was restrained by the rider, returned to the start, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. FICTITOUS was subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. The tongue tie on PEARL VALLEY was refitted at the start. These incidents caused a delay to the start of this Race. The starting stalls certificate for KITTY COO has been withdrawn. Assistant Trainer Peter was advised to re-school FICTICIOUS prior to its next engagement. ALL OVER THE WORLD lost 1 length. CANDELA lost 3 lengths. Trainer Maroun was advised to re-school this filly prior to its next engagement. In view of the Starter's report with regard to KITTY COO, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls. KITTY COO may be not presented for repassing during this period. Jockey Zechner reported that he felt something amiss with CANDELA in running. Jockey Habib reported that the saddle on GALU BEACH slipped back in running, which was confirmed by the Stipendiary Stewards. PRETTY POPULAR was baulked for a clear run from the 200m to the 100m. GOODNESS ME was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: CANDELA - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: HEAVEN'S DOOR - urticaria. MOMO - off feed. FICTICIOUS - bolted. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at tonight's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at tonight's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
