RED GRANITE kicked the back gate in the stalls. ANGLET was stubborn loading and was nervous in the stalls. AGTERSKOT was stubborn loading. OUR DESTINY was nervous in the stalls and was slow into stride. VALEDICTION was slow into stride. OUR DESTINY over-raced in the early stages. TWINKLE TOES over-raced in the early and middle stages and thereafter had to steady off the heels of OUR DESTINY passing the 900 metre mark. QUEEN FOREVER was hanging inward from the 400 metre mark. Jockey van der Merwe reported that VALEDICTION was not striding out freely in the running and he did not persevere with his ride in the closing stages. Leaving the 300 metre mark, ANGLET was awkwardly placed between OUR DESTINY and RED GRANITE and had to switch inward to continue its run at the 150 metre mark. QUEEN FOREVER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: TWINKLE TOES - not striding out in front. VALEDICTION - abnormal respiratory noise, not striding out behind. ANGLET - abnormal respiratory noise.
