ROBERT FROST was restless in the stalls. WEMIBONO jumped awkwardly outwards losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the report from the Starter concerning ROBERT FROST and IRA, Trainers Crawford and H W Crawford will be advised to re-school their horses before their next engagement Jockey Cheyne reported that he felt something amiss with PROUD DYNASTY in running. Jockey Smithdorff reported something amiss with BRANDENBURG, which commenced to lose significant ground to the field going through the 700m and was not persevered with. PROUD DYNASTY shifted out into a narrow run on the outside of a tiring BAYETO, which rolled outwards, resulting in PROUD DYNASTY making contact with the hindquarters of COUNT ROSBERG at about the 250m and had to be steadied momentarily. GIMMIE A COHIBA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BRANDENBURG - returned with a wound on the left hind. PROUD DYNASTY - returned suffering from an epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and was suspended, for a period of 180 days, (2nd episode) from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa. Scratched: TEUTONIC KNIGHT - under medication. The Course Farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
