MALARTIC was difficult to load. Trainer Miller was advised to re-school this gelding. MALARTIC was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. AMERICAN SNIPER over-raced in the early and middle stages. Jockey Delpech reported VOODOO took no interest in running. In view of the performance of GREAT SUCCESS the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey Lembethe signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention, in that whilst riding MALARTIC, he used his crop in an unnecessary manner with excessive frequency and down the shoulder in the drawn position, in the closing stages. Vet: GREAT SUCCESS and VOODOO - nothing obvious detected.
