WILLIAM NICOL was inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon at the start and declared fit to race. INTANDOKAZI (AUS) stood, losing many lengths. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. TUMBLING STREAM was squeezed out shortly after the start. In view of the Starter's report with regard to INTANDOKAZI (AUS), this gelding was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable jumping from the starting stalls. INTANDOKAZI (AUS) may not be presented for repassing during this period. Jockey Wrogemann, the rider of INTANDOKAZI (AUS), and Jockey David, the rider of NEUF DE PAPE, reported that their respective mounts did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Danielson reported that he felt something amiss with BENGAL BOY in running. Jockey Zechner reported that WILLIAM NICOL did not stride out freely in running. An inquiry will be opened into Jockey K Zechner's riding of WILLIAM NICOL in the concluding stages of the race. At approximately the 400m SLEEPINSEATTLE and GENESIS were awkwardly placed between BENGAL BOY and RAMBO, which was hanging out. BLAZING WINTER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. WITCH KING raced equipped with alumite shoes in front, unshod behind. Vet: WILLIAM NICOL, INTANDOKAZI (AUS) and BENGAL BOY - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. WITCH KING - mild post race distress. NEUF DE PAPE - not striding out left front. Scratched: CHEROKEE GREY - coughing. ZERODARKTHIRTY - colic. The Course Farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
