CAPTAIN'S WISH reared in the stalls as the gates were released, and refused to jump. CRUSADE'S PROMISE and LUCILLE jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter were slow into stride. In view of the report from the Starter regarding CAPTAIN'S WISH, Trainer Kannemeyer will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. The start was reviewed regarding CAPTAIN'S WISH in stall gate 4, and after reviewing the patrol films the Board established that the filly had reared as the start was effected and then refused to jump. The Board was satisfied that the filly had not been impeded and declared her to be a runner. EUROPEAN ROLLER raced green. RACINE and AU REVOIR were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
