Jockey Zackey did not ride at today's meeting due to being medically indisposed. NUMBER EIGHT was difficult to load, thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer Bestel was advised to re-school this gelding. PARASAILOR lost 1 length. MY LEADING LIGHT lost 2 lengths. GREEN EMPEROR lost 4 lengths. VISION OF TRUST was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. FIVES WILD and CIRENCESTER made contact leaving the starting stalls. NUMBER EIGHT raced green. CIRENCESTER and ROURKE (AUS) were both hanging in throughout. In view of the performance of GREEN EMPEROR, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey Lembethe reported that he felt something amiss with PARASAILOR in running and as a result he did not persevere with his ride in the closing stages. In view of the Starter's Report concerning GREEN EMPEROR, the starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion. CIRENCESTER raced fitted with alumites both fore and unshod behind. NUMBER EIGHT raced fitted with ear-muffs. Vet: GREEN EMPEROR - nothing obvious detected. PARASAILOR - not striding out right fore.
