Jockey Zackey, Jockey Claassen and Jockey van der Merwe did not ride at today's race meeting due to being medically indisposed. At the 150 metre mark, KEEP IT GREEN, which was closing off strongly, was severely cramped and bumped by STEFFI'S GRAFT, who was hanging in and shifted inward from the 300 metre mark. A race review was called by a member of the Stipendiary Board which was followed by an Objection being lodged by the rider of the 3rd placed horse, KEEP IT GREEN, against the 2nd placed STEFFI'S GRAFT on the grounds of interference in the closing stages. After reviewing the patrol film and hearing evidence from the connections, the Board was of the opinion that KEEP IT GREEN would've finished ahead of STEFFI'S GRAFT if it was not for this interference and upheld the Objection. The result was amended accordingly. Apprentice Hewitson signed an Admission of Guilt in contravention in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to KEEP IT GREEN at the 150 metre mark whilst riding STEFFI'S GRAFT. He was suspended for 7 days. Jockey Domeyer signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined for a contravention that he failed to present his Medical Record Book to the Clerk of scales at least 60 minutes before the official starting time of the first race in which he had an engagement. NICOLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. STEFFI'S GRAFT raced with a tongue tie. KEEP IT GREEN raced with alumites in front and unshod behind. Vet: U FOR ME - not striding out right fore. STEFFI'S GRAFT - speedy cut left fore, caudal pastern. EESHARA - speedy cut right fore. MARMALADE FANTASY (AUS) - not striding out left fore.
