During the loading process, MODUS DANCER broke through the front gates and bolted the course. This filly was taken in hand and subsequently withdrawn by the Stipendiary Board for delaying the start. ONE TRACK and NEVERLETUGO lost one length. MODUS DANCER was restless in the stalls, broke through the front gates and bolted the course. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Jockey Zackey reported that ONE TRACK made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. In view of the Starter's report with regard to MODUS DANCER, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls with a companion on a raceday. MODUS DANCER may not be presented for repassing during this period. Assistant Trainer van der Westhuizen was advised. SAILOR GIRL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SPEEDY STRIDE was ridden by Jockey Thackeray as Jockey Storey was involved in a traffic accident en-route to the racecourse POCAHONTAS GIRL raced with a tongue tie on. ONE TRACK raced with a cornell collar. Vet: DREAMSAREMADEOF (AUS) - cut into left hind. ONE TRACK - no abnormal respiratory noise detected post race. FLAMING HOT (AUS) - in season. Scratched: MODUS DANCER - delaying the start.
