The start of this Race was delayed due to the farrier having to refit the left fore shoe on ISCA at the start. ISCA was slow into stride. CAPTAIN'S GIRL was stubborn to load and rushed the front gates, removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was declared fit to race. Thereafter this filly refused to load and was withdrawn. VISION TO KILL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MOON SHADOW (AUS) was hanging in, in the latter stages. Apprentice Schwarz reported MUSCATT was not striding out freely in running. In view of the Starter's report concerning CAPTAIN'S GIRL, this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion. Vet: MUSCATT - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: DOING IT FOR DAN - sore back. CAPTAIN'S GIRL - refused to load and was withdrawn by the Starter.
