THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NAFOORAH (C Murray) was restless in the stalls and kicked the back gates, thereafter jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) OUR COYS (AUS) (L Hewitson) and MAGIC VISION (M Yeni) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) NAFOORAH (C Murray) over raced in the early and middle stages. b) OUR COYS (AUS) (L Hewitson) hung in from the 200m. c) Jockey C Murray reported something amiss with NAFOORAH in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) Apprentice K Matsunyane signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that he struck the horse SKIMINAC more than twelve times in the entire race. The Board imposed a penalty of a fine of R750. e) FLASH BURN (W Kennedy), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Nako, acting on behalf of Trainer S G Tarry, advised (LN). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) SKIMINAC was ridden by Apprentice K Matsunyane (declared 23 October 2020 at 11H29).
