The start of this Race was delayed due to the starting stalls having to be re-positioned on the track. HYPERACTIVE was stubborn loading. Trainer Terzi was advised to re-school this gelding prior to its next engagement. SEVENTH SON and BEAUTIFUL EMMILEE were slow into stride. SEVENTH SON was hanging out from the 400m. At approximately the 300m, LAST BATTLE was tightened for galloping room and had to switch out to continue its run. SNOW IN SEATTLE was hanging out from the 200m. SNOW IN SEATTLE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SEVENTH SON raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. TIMEOFTHEVIKINGS raced with a tongue tie on. HYPERACTIVE raced with ear muffs. Scratched: SHARKAHOLIC - sold/Stipes permission. There was a sale pending and the transfer of funds was finalised during the racemeeting. There was a request from the new owner for the horse not to race. In view of this, permission was granted for the gelding to be scratched. GREAT SHAKA - change of weight. HERACLES - retired. TRIP TO PARADISE - under suspension. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at tonight's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at tonight's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
