SENOR LIZARD was stubborn loading. Trainer Matchett was advised to re-school this colt prior to its next engagement. MY BOI CALOI was squeezed out shortly after the start. Apprentice Hewitson reported that he felt something amiss with RIVONIA BOULEVARD in running. At approximately the 200m, NOW AND FOREVER had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of TOPMAST, which rolled in. Jockey van der Merwe appeared before the Board, was shown the patrol films of the race and advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. Jockey Danielson reported that he felt something amiss with TUDOR MANOR in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. Jockey Chambers, the rider of ROCKY PATH, accidentally dropped his crop at the 150m. AFFRANCHI shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. In view of the performance of DROP KICK, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. Trainer Laird was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this colt on return to stables. AFFRANCHI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The new Ownership of CYBER SPECIAL should read: Messrs R P Mcnab, P J Louwrens & T P Zackey; and the Colours are: Blue, white crossed sashes, red sleeves and cap. SUGOI raced unshod and raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: DROP KICK - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. RIVONIA BOULEVARD - not striding out left front. TUDOR MANOR - fatigued. OVER SHARING - abnormal respiratory noise.
