THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) DO RE MI (J Jacobs) lost 1 length.
b) GIANTS CASTLE (*G Pieterse) refused to load and was withdrawn.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to GIANTS CASTLE (*G Pieterse), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 26.10.20 to the 01.11.20. GIANTS CASTLE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer N Kotzen was advised. (SH)
b) At the 1700m, MR DARCY (*J Syster) which over-raced in the early and middle stages, was cramped on the inside of GOLDEN DUCK (*C Dicken) which rolled in.
c) TWICE THE EFFECT (S Moodley) was hanging in from the 350m.
d) At the 150m, RUBY COVE (L Hewitson) was switched to the inside of DO RE MI (*J Jacobs), which was hanging out from the 250m to continue its run.
e) CHEWBACA (*L Ferraris), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer B Forster acting for Trainer W A Nel advised (ML).

b) ELLIS ISLAND was ridden by Apprentice K Matsunyane (advised 21.10.20/7h49).

d) GOLDEN DUCK was ridden by Apprentice C Dicken (claiming 2.5kg) (advised 25.10.20/8h29).
