The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race and the 30 minute interval. ZALIKA was nervous in the stalls, slow away and lost 1 length. DON'T LET ME DOWN and DRIVE ME CRAZY were slow into stride. STORYFIELDS was slow away and lost 1 length. BATTERSEA BRIDGE was nervous and reared in the stalls, slow away and lost 1 length. Jockey Devoy reported that he felt something amiss with BATTERSEA BRIDGE in the running. Apprentice Hewitson reported that he felt something amiss with SEATTLE AFFAIR in the running. Jockey Murray reported that he felt something amiss with STORYFIELDS in the running. ZALIKA raced green and ducked outwards in the closing stages. DRIVE ME CRAZY was hanging inward in the closing stages. Jockey Claassen was stood down by the Course Medical Officer after the running of this race due to dehydration. DRIVE ME CRAZY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SEATTLE AFFAIR and THE LANDLORD raced with alumites in front and unshod behind. Vet: BATTERSEA BRIDGE and SEATTLE AFFAIR - bilateral epistaxis, 180 days suspension. THE LANDLORD - speedy cut both hind fetlock. STORYFIELDS - not striding out in front.
