ROBERT FROST was reluctant to load, jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the report from the Starter regarding ROBERT FROST, Trainer Crawford will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before his next engagement. Leaving the 450m, RED RASCAL had to steady and switch inwards off the heels of ROBERT FROST which rolled out slightly. ASHFORDS LEGACY (AUS) raced green and was hanging out from the 300m. TOMAHAWK raced green. In view of the performance from ROBERT FROST, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding on his return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. RED RASCAL was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ASHFORDS LEGACY (AUS) was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TOMAHAWK raced with alumites in front and unshod behind. Vet: ROBERT FROST - examined post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
