The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. SILVER GOD was slow into stride. WONDERWALL and BIG BEAR lost one length. The Stipendiary Board reviewed the start of this race and established that SILVER GOD in stall gate 4 had become restless as the start was effected. The Board was satisfied that this was horse error and that the handler allocated to this colt had released him timeously and therefore he was declared a runner. Jockey Wrogemann reported the he felt something amiss with MAJESTIC MAMBO in running. MAJESTIC MAMBO shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. At approximately the 1000m, SILVER GOD was awkwardly placed on the inside of CASH TIME, which rolled in marginally. MONKS HOOD and SURCHARGE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. PIETRO MASCAGNI raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: MAJESTIC MAMBO - respiratory distress. NOBLE SECRET - mild post race distress. WONDERWALL and STATE TROOPER -abnormal respiratory noise.
