THE STARTER REPORTED A) SECOND REQUEST was unruly at the start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) MASTER NEWTON (M V'Rensburg) raced fiercely in the early and middle stages. B) SEVILLE (X Ndlovu) raced around the field at the 1000m and to the front at the 700m. C) THE HIGHWAY MAN (*Y Ramzan) was hanging out in the concluding stages. D) BEETHOVEN (C Maujean) shifted out away from the crop between the 300m and the 150m. E) Jockey X Ndlovu reported that SEVILLE changed stride continually in the running. The Course Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. F) The winner MARMARA SEA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis, Assistant Trainer A Mtengwana acting on behalf of Trainer A C Greeff advised (LM).
