Jockey Chambers, the rider of COACHELLA, reported something amiss with his mount in running. Jockey Herholdt, the rider of ROAD TO DUBAI, reported this gelding took no interest and he felt something amiss, thereafter he did not persevere with his mount from the 300-metre mark. Trainer Stidolph appeared before the Stipendiary Board and was questioned into the improved running of the winner, SUPER GOOD. Trainer Stidolph explained to the Board that this gelding raced off lighter weight today, and preferred the softer going. SUPER GOOD was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. WINDIGO raced in steels. Vet: COACHELLA - examined post race and nothing untoward was found. ROAD TO DUBAI - checked post-race, poor recovery time. Suspected viral infection.
