NGAGA was slow into stride. STATUTE lost 2 lengths. DAWN CALLING was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Jockey Marcus, the rider of DAWN CALLING, accidentally dropped his crop near the 150 metre mark. In view of the performance of STATUTE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Vet: STATUTE - not striding out right fore. Scratched: VISUALITY - no transport. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at tonight's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at tonight's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
