THE SULTANS SECRET was slow losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. SILVER LEAGUE raced in Club Colours. SILVER LEAGUE raced wide without cover in the early stages. At about the 300m, THE SULTANS SECRET steadied off the heels of MIND BLOWING, which shifted out sharply to continue his run. Jockey S Cele appeared before the Board and was advised to take more care when shifting ground in future. Jockey Andrews reported that TROOP THE COLOUR did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Byleveld reported that PILOT OFFICER made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. COMFORTABLY NUMB was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: TROOP THE COLOR - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. PILOT OFFICER - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. SILVER LEAGUE - returned in post race distress.
