The start of this Race was delayed due to JUST AS I SAID proving stubborn to load. JUST AS I SAID proved stubborn to load. The Starting Stall Certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. QUEEN LAURIE lost one length. CATHEDRAL COUNTY jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. LE TIGRE was restless in the stalls. In view of the performance of TANDAVA (ZIM), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Trainer Terzi was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this gelding on return to stables. The saddle on TANDAVA (ZIM) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by the Course Veterinary Surgeon. GREASEPAINT was hanging in, in the concluding stages. Jockey Zackey reported that he felt something amiss with SPORTING MONARCH in running. At approximately the 350m, GOLDEN MAN had to steady momentarily off the heels of LAURENT DU VAR, which rolled in. In view of the Starter's report with regard to JUST AS I SAID, this gelding was suspended and may not race until he has been passed tractable loading successfully on two successive occasions on race days. The saddle on SHARP GITANO slipped back in running. This was confirmed by the Course Veterinary Surgeon. CATHEDRAL COUNTY and GREASEPAINT were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: DONNY G - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. TANDAVA (ZIM) and SPORTING MONARCH - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. CATHEDRAL COUNTY - coughing. LAURENT DU VAR - mild post race distress.
