Stall gate 3 was left vacant and the runners moved up due to a technical problem with the back gate. HAPPY JUNCTION was restless in the stalls. RAPID REVIEW jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. SNOW GOOSE jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. Jockey Cele, the rider of SNOW GOOSE, which raced green, reported that this filly made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. VASE was difficult to settle in the early stages. HAPPY JUNCTION and MILLY'S MIRACLE were hanging out in the latter stages. MISS SMARTY PANTS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SNOW GOOSE - examined in the parade ring, after she had reared and fell, and again at the start and the filly was declared fit to race. SNOW GOOSE - examined post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
