BELIEVETHISBEAUTY reared up in the stalls. LIGHT AS A FEATHER jumped awkwardly losing two lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. At about the 150m, BLUE FLOWER had to steady off the heels of BELIEVETHISBEAUTY, which shifted in and was immediately straightened. In view of the performance from PICK 'N CHOOSE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Jockey Orffer (LIGHT AS A FEATHER), which trailed the field throughout and was eased out of the race in the straight, reported that he felt something amiss with this filly. OLOYE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. LIGHT AS A FEATHER raced fitted with ear muffs. Vet: PICK 'N CHOOSE - returned fatigued. LIGHT AS A FEATHER - was inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
