ONE DIRECTION and BLACKBALL were slow into stride. GAT HENSHAW lost 1 length. DARK MOON RISING was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Approaching the 1600 metre mark MAIN PLAYER shifted in carrying LIQUID RAINBOW inwards. This resulted in LIQUID RAINBOW and DARK MOON RISING becoming cramped and DARK MOON RISING having to be checked off the heels of LIQUID RAINBOW. Apprentice Bantam signed an admission of guilt in that as the rider of MAIN PLAYER he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the runners on his inside at approximately the 1600 metre mark. He was suspended for a period of 7 days. AMOR ARDIENTE was pulling hard in the early and middle stages. In view of the performances of ONE DIRECTION and GAT HENSHAW the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these geldings. Jockey de Melo replaced Jockey Delpech on DARK MOON RISING. TECHNO CAPTAIN raced fitted with ear-muffs. BLACKBALL raced fitted with a Cornell collar. Vet: ONE DIRECTION - nothing obvious detected. GAT HENSHAW - nothing obvious detected.
