IRISH MARSH lost two lengths. SILVER PRANCER lost one length. VESPER was stubborn to load. DUSKY DANCER was stubborn and difficult to load. IRISH MARSH was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Robinson was questioned with regard to the improved performance of IRISH MARSH compared to this filly's previous performance on the 28 March 2018. Mr Robinson explained that in his opinion, IRISH MARSH is better suited to the longer distance of today's race and stated that this filly cast a shoe in her previous run. Mr Robinson further undertook to race IRISH MARSH over similar distances in future. The Board noted his explanation. In view of the Starter's Report concerning DUSKY DANCER this filly has been suspended for a period of 7 days and thereafter until such time as it is recertified tractable with a companion. DUSKY DANCER may not be presented for repassing during this period. A tiring SUCH A RUSH shifted in slightly. Simultaneously FONTEYN was hanging out, shifted out slightly resulting in SUCH A RUSH becoming inconvenienced off the heels of FONTEYN passing the 200 metre mark. SUNNY GIRL was inconvenienced on the outside running rail for a number of strides at approximately the 250 metre mark. Apprentice Moodley, the rider of ROY'S FLUTE reported this filly took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Jockey Godden replaced Jockey S Randolph on INCOMODATION Jockey Murray replaced Jockey Delpech on LILIBET FONTEYN raced fitted with ear muffs. Vet: ROY'S FLUTE - coughing.
