ON THE RIGHT PATH was slow losing two lengths. Jockey Thackeray, the rider of IN FULL REGALIA, and Jockey Marwing, the rider of TURBO, reported that their mounts were blowing heavily post-race. Jockey Greyling reported that ON THE RIGHT PATH did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Fortune reported that he felt something amiss with VALEGRO in running. In view of the performance of ROCK A BYE BABY, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer Lesley was requested to report back to the Board on the condition of this filly on return to stables. LAURENT DU VAR and MODJADJI were hanging in from the 200m. NICKLAUS (BRZ) cast its left front shoe in running. ROQUEBRUNE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ON THE RIGHT PATH raced with a tongue tie on. LAURENT DU VAR is now trained by Mr T Spies. The New ownership of: Messrs T Spies, R S Chapman & Lenton Naidoo & Mr H Bhowany & Miss B T Beedasy; and the Colours: Emerald and lime green quartered, lime green sleeves and cap sold with engagements. FATAL ATTRACTION raced with Club colours. Vet: IN FULL REGALIA - not striding out right front. Indefinitely suspended for full veterinary report and gallop.
