There was a slight delay to the start of the 7th Race due to the 30 minute gap between Race 6 and 7. CAPE INFANTA was slow into stride. MULHER DE BRANCO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer Fayd'herbe, acting on behalf of Trainer Bass-Robinson, was questioned regarding the improved performance of MULHER DE BRANCO the winner compared to this mare's previous race on the 25.3.2018. Mr Fayd'herbe could offer no explanation other than this mare over-raced in her previous start. The future performances of MULHER DE BRANCO will be monitored by the Stipendiary Board. KARATAGE over-raced in the early stages. PEGGY'S DREAM was momentarily inconvenienced and thereafter switched in to obtain a clear run at approximately the 150 metre mark. HIDDEN THOUGHT and MULHER DE BRANCO brushed shortly before the finish. In view of the performance of JUST RAP, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. ROCK ON WOOD raced fitted with ear-muffs. Vet: JUST RAP - nothing obvious detected.
