INGA, GREEN FAIRY, O'KEEFFE and GOT YOUR BACK lost 1 length. O'KEEFFE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. GOT YOUR BACK was hanging in, in the final straight and was switched to the outside of MINNIE THE MOOCHER for a clear run near the 200 metre mark. GREEN FAIRY shifted out approaching the 50 metre mark resulting in INGA being inconvenienced. Thereafter INGA was eased from the heels of GREEN FAIRY shortly before the finish. Jockey Brown, the rider of GREEN FAIRY, appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to take measures to keep his mounts on a straight course in races in future. In view of the performances of RAES' DYNA JET, ICED UP and STAR OF CAESOUR (AUS), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. INGA returned post-race having cast the right fore shoe. Vet: RAES' DYNA JET - nothing obvious detected. ICED UP - not striding out right fore. STAR OF CAESOUR (AUS) - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: SHIFTING GEARS - injured in float.
