TRIP TO IBIZA which was restless in the stalls, jumped awkwardly losing one length, and thereafter was slow into stride. Trainer Ramsden was charged with a contravention in that he failed to deliver the passport for the horse FAVOLA at least 60 minutes before the official starting time of this race. Jockey Smithsdorff, rider of ESPRESSIVO reported that this filly did not stride out freely and as a result did not persevere with his riding in the latter stages. Jockey Cheyne, rider of WICKED KISS reported that he felt something amiss with this filly and as a result did not persevere with his riding from the 400m. BON BON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ESPRESSIVO and WICKED KISS were inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
