The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race and the tongue tie on ice mint having to be refitted at the start. ICE MINT lost 1 length. FUYU proved reluctant to canter to the start and had to be led by Jockey Thackeray. Jockey Zackey reported that MILLY'S MIRACLE did not stride out freely in running. RASPBERRY RED over-raced in the early stages and thereafter commenced to hang in from the 300m. CRIMSON ROYALE and PICTURE ME were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MILLY'S MIRACLE raced equipped with alumite shoes in front, unshod behind. Vet: RASPBERRY RED - coughing. MILLY'S MIRACLE - examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
