A false start was called when THE RISING LEGEND, which was restless, pulled its head down shortly before the start was effected, resulting in this gelding not having a fair start. All runners were immediately pulled up by their respective riders, returned to the start, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. Trainer Woodruff was advised to re-school THE RISING LEGEND prior to its next engagement. HAPPY PILLS lost 5 lengths. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. In view of the Starter's report with regard to HAPPY PILLS, this gelding has been suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls with a companion. Suspension dates: 9 May 2018 to 15 May 2018. HAPPY PILLS may not be presented for repassing during this period. At approximately the 500m INN A MILLION and ALBACORE (IRE) were carried out by HAPPY PILLS which took evasive action to avoid MY FAVOURITE BROWN (AUS), which was eased out the race. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine MY FAVOURITE BROWN (AUS). INN A MILLION was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Azzie advised. The All Clear for this race was delayed as the Stipendiary Board called for the photograph to satisfy them as to the accuracy of the result. Vet: MY FAVOURITE BROWN (AUS) - lame left front tendon.
